LOOSE FIT BLACK WATER

Despite releasing their debut single 'Pull The Lever' via FatCat Records just last month, Sydney's Loose Fit sound like they've been plucked straight from the early 80s underground punk scene. Featuring an aggressively-picked bass line thats reminiscent of Delta 5's rowdy brand of disco-punk, new single 'BLACK WATER's erratic guitar work also wouldn't feel out of place on a Bush Tetras track. With dizzying vocals arriving courtesy of Anna Langdon 'BLACK WATER' tackles the haunting and persistent nature of anxiety. Reflected in the lyrics, “with you in the car park, with you in the diner, with you in the snack aisle, with you in the elevator” Langdon gasps for air between phrases, attempting to swim away from the black water before she becomes exhausted and drowns. -Holly Mullineaux
